One of FMCG market leaders is looking for Lean Initiatives Manager

Responsibilities:

• To ensure sustainable and consistent rollout of LEAN initiatives across Functions and Business Units driving consumer & customer value in alignment with Market business needs
• Ensure adherence to the LEAN Reference Guides
• Ensure integration of all LEAN initiatives in the Market contributing to an integrated NCE rollout
• Support development of the LEAN roll out plan
• Promote the LEAN methodology and approach
• Establish and coordinate LEAN training strategy
• Ensure coordination of LEAN trainings
• Build awareness of LEAN initiatives at MANCOM and Department Heads/ Unit Managers
• Lead and coach the Market Pillar Leaders.
• Initiate internal and external benchmarking
• Support the competence network (Pillar) for cross fertilisation of learnings, knowledge and ideas
• Coach and develop Value Stream Managers, End-to-End Process manager LEAN Office and LEAN Design Project Manager.
• Support the definition and coordinate the planning process of the Market's LEAN Master Plans ensuring alignment with Reference Guide and Market / Business Strategy and validate with NCE steering committee.
• Align key stakeholders and ensure consistent, clear communication on LEAN
• Validate and report on calibration of assessments and step/phase audits between business units

Required skills:

• Fluent English
• Highly developed knowledge of LEAN Management System
• Developed knowledge and application of LEAN method and tools across functions
• Highly developed decision making and problem solving skills
• Ability to understand and link the interconnecting interfaces across the Value Chain
• Capability to recognise strengths and build high performing teams.
• Developed teaching and coaching skills
